I think he is one of those players who is affordable and on an upward curve, and importantly, both Conte and Fabio like him. It of course remains to be seen as to whether we will go for him.
Don't get me wrong, i'd be happy if he joined. We'd have a very solid, working midfield. I'd just love a world class player in there. A viera. Or even modric.

Out of interest, in your ideal world, who would that world class midfielder be if it was up to you (and cash needed wasn't a problem)?
Tbh i don't know enough about world football these days. If we are looking for a more forward thinking midfielder then sms looks the gonads.

He's available now. A team just has to make a bid dortmund would accept and he'd accept.
