According to ally gold, conte also thinks we need one. Not necessarily a playmaker though.

Seems we are looking for a lcb, rwb, forward and cm (not all for this window but hopefully we can get in at least one).

The CM one is clear because he think only has 3 here (skipp, winks and PEH)

the lack of a second striker though is still IMO criminal

Very possible. Although allegedly paratici sounds out numerous players for each position he wants filled. Before pulling the trigger on one.

Yeah but if he knows and thinks that McKennie is trouble, he's unlikely to sound out Juve on him. I think that 90% of the press and ITK links to Italian based players are flimflam and just an easy story, like when you get links to managers coming back for ex-players, there is rarely anything in it.
 
Not keen on McKennie. He's like so many Yank players. Over-rated because of the fawning US media who drool every time a Yank correctly ties his boot laces.

This guy is clearly all about himself. I'm working the Canada-US World Cup qualifier in Hamilton, ON, at the end of the month. Close enough to fling a baggie full of pi55 at him and call him a cnut. Assuming he ain't a Spurs player by then. Here's hoping Covid restrictions allow fans back into Canadian sports venues by then.
