Conte would have the team revolting against him by now anyway wouldn’t he

Agreed, but then it works both ways ie time to not get carried away and talk about sacking the manager every time we lose. We are a work in progress that much is obvious, which means there will be ups and downs. We are 3 points off third so how about we let the league breathe and play out before talking about getting a new manager in.....If we can put four or five consecutive performances like that together then we’re moving in the right direction. We’ve seen great performances like today before, followed by shoddy defeats when the players don’t seem to turn up.
Time to enjoy it, but not the time to get carried away.
Bang on. Don't get too high when we win, or too low when we lose.Agreed, but then it works both ways ie time to not get carried away and talk about sacking the manager every time we lose. Which bit? In terms of BlueSky I was trying to see how to paste links to BlueSky. It is an alternative to Twitter (X) where all good folk are going, because musk likes to suckle blood from the Nazi Mango's teat.can you explain this bud, don't get it?
He absolutely has to get this season and next. We'll have more brick defeats I reckon but the thought of sacking this guy to go on the merry-go-round again fills me with dread. He has a vision, he has beliefs...let's see how it plays out. He believes he will win something here...maybe he's right.Agreed, but then it works both ways ie time to not get carried away and talk about sacking the manager every time we lose. Part of the reason it can be hard for fans to keep the faith is the constant dissecting it to death week in week out. (especially when we lose)To quote a Liverpool fan, it's sometimes hard to keep the faith though: Tottenham remind me of the first couple of years of Klopp. They can challenge any team in football, they really do have an incredibly high ceiling on their level of football but they just struggle to be consistent. I think they have reasons to be positive though if they’re patient. It’s easier to add consistency than it is to increase your best level.
Yep thisPart of the reason it can be hard for fans to keep the faith is the constant dissecting it to death week in week out. (especially when we lose)
Take all that has been written and opinions espoused since losing to Ipswich....becomes meaningless when you beat City 4-0.
We are so up and down at present, it's a riddle.....just let Ange get on with it
Na il on the head of course and you are not wrong, however that also goes for those fans who have said Ange is not good enough for the job. [ not saying you think like that]If we can put four or five consecutive performances like that together then we’re moving in the right direction. We’ve seen great performances like today before, followed by shoddy defeats when the players don’t seem to turn up.

I'm sorry, what does that mean?Yep this
Doesn’t help it was another gap between games because of international
I’d did worry that @thfcsteff was going purple and yellow at one point this week
Those days off be some toxic because it’s breathing space in a bad way
When you win you what the next game quickly
When you lose you want it next day to get ut out of the system
I think we've had maybe three poor performances. The rest have been largely of a high standard with details failing us/individual mistakes. I think the progress is very clear, we are learning who is able to make the step up consistently.Part of the reason it can be hard for fans to keep the faith is the constant dissecting it to death week in week out. (especially when we lose)

Honestly mateI'm sorry, what does that mean?
I have CONSISTENTLY said we need to have PATIENCE with the manager. What I have been concerned about is the level of support for him both among elements of our fanbase and in terms of him getting what he wants! Why do you have such a problem with that question being asked or point being raised? Is no-one in the boardroom beyond a question now? Please. If I was Levy Out I'd be very articulate about it! Again, I hope the manager is properly supported and given the time to complete the work is doing. I am saying this in black and white mate.
Agree, and this isn't to be used as an excuse - all the top teams have this issue. But we have a squad of which many haven't had this to contend with before, so I do think this needs to be taken into consideration and this is another season of gaining experience, working on how to handle the three games a week. Our poor performances in the prem have coincided with playing after the europa game midweek.
Thurs to sun is a killer for us. Not just tiredness but minimal prep time.
Losing at home to Ipswich can do that to a person. As can blowing a lead at Brighton, a lacklustre performance at Palace and a flukey win against Coventry. All added to many years without a trophy.Honestly mate
The way you speak on the pod and post 99% of the time your a positive guy
But…. Last week your posts became morw and more negative about the things the club were doing
It’s kit the steff I’ve seen posting for years
I was even tempted to PM you
I’ve heard you talk about the painful rebuild many times and that view is the right view
Reality is that we rebuildingLosing at home to Ipswich can do that to a person. As can blowing a lead at Brighton, a lacklustre performance at Palace and a flukey win against Coventry. All added to many years without a trophy.
We can all be positive, and I think most on here want to see Ange given time and backing. But a healthy dose of reality is needed at times too.
