Yea Neville made the comment in commentary on the Utd game, something along the lines of “poor version of Peps FB system”.Think gary neville had made a comment. Although i didn't hear it myself.

Indeed. He had the audacity to call out other managers 'obsession' with playing the same way as Pep....Yea Neville made the comment in commentary on the Utd game, something along the lines of “poor version of Peps FB system”.

Neville's tongue, Pep's cheek?Tongue was firmly in cheek.
they wouldn't get the opportunities if they weren't - and if Levy means what he says (eye rolls lol) it's how we should be developing them either into our first XI or opportunities outside. I wish I had the balls to follow through all those decades ago...Only as long as they're good enough.
Lineker interviewing Ange for Football Focus

Does he really say he “thought he was the last man standing” in Spurs selection process, as the written BBC article suggests? I can’t see the iplayer interview where I am but there’s no mention of it on the bbc website interview. I was under the impression he was contacted very early in the process by Spurs, but that he wouldn’t discuss it until Celtic’s season was done.Lineker interviewing Ange for Football Focus

Thanks. The written article says he thought he was “last man standing” this summer, so the Spurs job.He does say that but I don’t think it’s true of the Spurs job. It is definitely of the Celtic job and he elaborates on that a bit (“maybe I should thank Eddie Howe”)

I think it was more he knew he wasnt the first choice.
Howe was close to becoming Celtics manager before back room staff issues (i think)
and we were linked with Nagelsmann with a few talks taking place. (obviously not as close as Howe was to Celtic)
Then when both fell through Ange got brought in.
Nagelsmann would have been discussed I’m sureOnly my opinion but I'd be surprised if Ange wasn't the first choice / towards the top of the list. Listening to how Levy's spoken over the last few days, it's hard to believe he would have gone for Nagelsmann.
Nagelsmann would have been discussed I’m sure
But we parked it after talking to him and realising he is another ego
I read that ETH was interviewed and the club checked in with Martin Jol to understand was he always a dingdong
The full interview is great. Lineker asks good questions
