There was a clear plan for where Klopp, Arteta and Guardiola were headed with their teams, though. I think that fades with every game under Ange, unfortunately. And I don't think the game that he would like to play is achievable with our resources - and he clearly isn't up for adapting, even when we are down to the bare bones due to injuries.
For me he is a novice at this level.Which IF people take that line means there have to be question as to why he was hired and why he was given such overwhelming support from within the upper mgmt circles?
I don't so. There is a clear plan under Ange. I still hope that I am wrong, though.
Remember when that was exactly what fans wanted lol? "Don't mind getting beat as long as we at least try and have a go etc."I want Ange to stay and work things out but he’s really annoying me recently. Can’t be saying things like “I just to want to entertain” when you’re losing football matches.

Footballs mad like that ain't it!? Do you think he has a solution for making us less open and it's simply injuries and the need for more system based signings that will get us there or is this just the way he plays??

Pick and Arry had a lot of options in the squad at key pointsI think people were saying that when we were playing rubbish football and losing so it’s slightly more preferable to play good football and lose lol. Poch and Arry had a pretty good balance, they played good football but we weren’t so flippin easy to play against and beat. Poch’s teams were also powerful and strong and we had pace. We just lacked guile when Eriksen was off form.

Do you think there would be more progress if he had more players available? He has a plan and while yes there are question marks over it's suitability to the league/level of football - I'm still not seeing much progress wrt implementing whatever his plan is tbh
And better ones, I think the answer would be yes and yesDo you think there would be more progress if he had more players available?
I think just missing maybe half of the players we are would make a difference myselfAnd better ones, I think the answer would be yes and yes

Spot on. And his huge number of changes for Europa league games doesn’t help either. We have a squad better than many teams in the prem, and not as strong as others … this fatigue thing is down to Ange rotating using the wrong options and playing disjointed teams thrown in together. All teams will have fatigue issues but it doesn’t help when the manager wants to play this certain way.
The rotation in really really not impressed withTbh based on what I've seen so far I don't think so.
He's had minimal change to his first XI between this season and last (regarding transfers) so they really should be up to speed by now. We've had our fair share of injuries this season and last plus this season the added opportunities to rotate in the EL and LC meaning he has been able to give more game time to a wider selection of players. Neither the first team nor the rotational players look comfortable with the set up
This. I am not entertained at all by the way we play in the majority of matches. ‘Angeball’ feels like a bit of a myth to me. I’ve witnessed it on only an handful of occasions in 18 months. We're not entertaining though. Our movement is crap and we play the ball too slow. We are way more AVB than we are Poch.
There is a plan but so far the implementation of it has been poor. It doesn't help when he starts trying to put round pegs in square holes. Play Spence at RB instead of Gray. If Sarr is our only available DM and he needs changing use Gray there. Use Werner at LW not Johnson. If one of the younger goalkeepers is going to be here long term play them instead of Forster (he has played well he's just not the future). Even if he doesn't think they are ready yet they will at least get experience. Spence is 24, if he's not ready now then he never will be.I don't so. There is a clear plan under Ange. The question is is that plan a winning one or too naive for the PL.
