Vincent Janssen

why all this "feel sorry for Him" and its "unfair" we bought Llorente, this is a football club, not a charity and we want to win.

and all this there's a quality player there, i'm not a fan of youtube clips, the Dutch are about to miss out on another major competition, their league clearly isn't what it was and this guy just doesn't have it, if he was a horse, he'd be on his way to the glue factory. He's a waste of money on our wage bill.

Are you still here? You promised to leave this community if Jansen was around the first of September.

Have I missed people complaining about a player being brought in ahead of him? We all want the club to be successful and bringing in Llorente clearly makes us stronger. At the same time you can still want a player to succeed. In fact, I'd say actively wanting a player to fail to show that you are right, is a pretty bricky attitude to have and not the way to build a winning mentality at the club.

I think that it is also pretty condescending to suggest that people who see something in Janssen are doing so only based on YouTube clips.

It is quite obvious that Mr_B have something personal against Janssen. And at that moment his whole credibility disappeared in this topic.

Guess the manager does not rate him at all

who ever advised him not to go needs sacking by the player.
Actually it's more a technical reason as it turns out.....

Clubs that play in the Champions League actually submit two lists of players for registration. “List A” is comprised of a max of 25 players. Two of them have to be keepers, and eight spots are reserved for “club trained players,” defined as players trained by the club for three years between the ages of 15-21, or who were on another club’s roster in the same association for three years in the same period. You can’t have more than 4 association-trained players on List A.

“List B” can be filled with players who are 21 or under and who have been at the club for at least two years. There’s no limit to the number of players who can be on this list. Players from List B can feature for a club in the Champions League match so long as they register him a day before the match.

Juan Foyth is in it ahead of him as well...

I can't see a way back for him from this.

so we could have picked 2 keepers, Lloris and Vorm, and given Gazzingas spot to Janssen? Man Utd have selected only two keepers

And IF one of the keepers had picked up an injury we would have had one keeper. I suppose Hoddle could have taken the gloves as he did well the times he did step in. While I understand feeling sorry for VJ - who does try his best and keep plugging away - I'd prefer to have the keeper position adequately stocked with Llorente as 'Plan B' in attack. VJ will hopefully be fresh for the cups and league games (after CL).

well if its alright for Mourinho to pick 2 keepers then............

if one picks up an injury, we bring in a youth keeper from the B list as back up

I'm not too surprised about the 3 keepers, that would be normal enough. But on your generally point, he probably could have been shoehorned in somewhere. Foyth's inclusion is a little surprising.
