Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

I think they have a point. If they had had a striker on-form getting 20 goals they would be right up there. Their top scorers have very few goals. But we all know Fowler ain't there any more. Nor Rush. Nor Owen. Nor Torres. Nor Aldridge. Shame

Was listening to Talksport today and they were chatting about the demise of Andy Carroll. It made me think: Which strikers have gone to Liverpool and flourished? Fowler and Owen were youth products if I'm not mistaken.

Torres was also brilliant for a season - though his poor form had actually started whilst at Anfield. Suarez has done well.

On the other hand, Carroll, Keane, Crouch all struggled at Liverpool straight after coming from in off really hot form.
Collymore? Heskey?

It's a graveyard for strikers.

Oh, and apparantly they should be 4th not 7th and would be if they had cracked their goalscoring problem, according to one caller! That famous scouse wit, eh?

Collymore was pretty good for them for at least a season or two, though.

Well no they fudgein dont. In that case - if we had a striker a proper striker we would have won the league. If we had a defender we would have won the league. If we had 25 world class players we would have won the league.

Its all flimflam for them. Thats the whole point of the season, to see who is the BEST team.

If all our corners beat the first man we will have scored 100 goals.

If and buts do not win ya games. Its like saying we will have won the league if we had better players. Er isnt thats the point? to see who is the best team?

Very true, but fudge it. I love stats.

Scouser 1: I think the WC changed Torres.

Scouser 2: Nah, it happened when he went to Chelsea.

Wrong both of you, your hero Rafa fudged him up .

Lovely reading Scousers having a go at City for spending all that money and bottling the title.

To be fair, I seem to remember being over the moon with winning the Carling Cup in '07 despite having a brick year in the league, and I'm pretty sure many on here shared my sentiments.

2008 you mean. Some Spurs fans are strange. Just because we are fighting for CL place now, suddenly they think winning CC in 2008 and 1999 means nothing for us. They are our only trophies for the last 21 years ! Teams like Arsenal and Saudi Sportswashing Machine would do everything just to win a trophy now ! Winning any Cup will always be important for me as a Spurs fan. You just can't explain in words that feeling after winning the CC in 2008. For me, that was more satisfying than playing in CL.

I would never knock the League Cup but enjoy it more than seeing the mighty yids in the champions league? Nah.

Thing is we lovedwinning it but then didnt come out and say about being brick in the league doesnt matter even though we did actually on a horrendous run afterwards, thats what LFC fans and KKK have done on more than one occasion, they laud themselves as title contenders year in year in out but are nowhere near it even after spending ?ú100m, not even been anywhere near the top4 in 3 seasons now and yet they say it doesnt matter as they won the CC, whooopie doo, finishing ossibly 10th or worse in a season when they have spent ?ú100m is a joke, any other manager wouldve been sacked as its the messiah he wont be, all the better for the other teams around them really
