Hold on, stoppage time is only now added for goal celebrations in excess of 30 seconds?
I assume that's just a bad summary? I mean injuries, excessive time wasting etc. must be taken into account as well?

The amount of times I hear people saying 'I don't understand the offside rule. Why do they keep changing it" etc., when actually not much has changed with that and it really isn't overly difficult to understand, whereas with handball I no longer have a clue what the rule is.The handball rule has been tweaked in the Premier League (again).

Now, if there is a deflection off the foot or body that clearly alters the trajectory of the ball and it hits the arm, there will be no handball offence -- even if the arm is extended away from the body or above… pic.twitter.com/UHX87JlV2L
I still don't like that grey area of how much of a deflection is needed

Now THAT is what VAR is for...
I'm just watching MotD and see Man Utd go 2-1 up late in the game against Brighton... ref gives the goal, linesman is happy... VAR points out it was offside. Then Brighton go and win it. That is BIG for Spurs' top4/5/6 ambitions
Brighton are bigger threats to us than United. Now THAT is what VAR is for...

More transparency is good, obviously. I wonder how it will work for those at matches, if half the stadium is trying to get onto the PL match centre account at the same time to find out what is going on. I hope some thought has been given to communicating this info in the grounds. I bet it hasn’t.

"I'm really surprised by how people in this country have let their game be changed. It's been changed so much by VAR. We never used to discuss handling in the box, offsides..."

Hate to say it but no.
The ref should have seen it though.
