VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

If it wasn't for VAR yesterday that horrific tackle by the Millwall keeper on the JP Mateta would have been missed. Michael Oliver didn't even stop the game. And he has a history of missing bad challenges which VAR then corrects.

I'd still be curious to know when they are going to change the laws regarding level. The technology has killed the existence of level but, unless I am mistaken, the laws still state level is onside.

The laws really should state that level is onside unless VAR technology is being used in the game. That makes it work at all levels of football.

I'd still love them to adapt the technology so there is a tolerance applied for level. After 5 years of fans sentiment, they clearly aren't going to. However, they won't admit that they've killed level. It's become almost political.

I'm still unhappy with the chance of players being injured due to delay in the ref blowing his whistle. To my mind VAR has changed what was the norm in offside, forwards tended to get the benefit of the doubt now decisions are given as offside which would hardly been questioned pre VAR. I had no sympathy with any team that used it as a tactic as it relied on the officials doing their defending for them.
