U23s, Academy and Loanees

Wow, Fulham are extremely impressive and really outclassed our U21s.
They beat us 4-1 at the Lamex, could have been 10-1 if it wasn't for Gunter being a hero in goal.

A lot of players looked good and had nice moments but somehow it never amounted to a threat to the Fulham goal; our goal came when their keeper was way out and passed straight to our player!

I'm wondering if it was a problem with our system, since we just looked thoroughly outthought, pressed back and struggling for large parts. The full backs really struggled. Hmm, disappointing.

Obviously we lacked Donley Moore Devine um Robson er Craig ......er Scarlett Dorrington er Phillips Veliz er hmmm...

Lankshear was pretty isolated and came off at half time as a precaution I think, since he seemed fine and ambled onto the pitch at the final whistle to shake hands, so didn't seem injured at all. Probably just being cautious since he is coming back from a hammy.

These levels seem to go in phases as players progress
We ain’t seeing a title winning side for that level this season, that’s for sure … but hopefully some will shine and develop

I believe they beat us in a final last season. This season the U21 team is not as good as last season. I expect it is due to the changes, talent level of some of the players etc. I also don't expect much from them this season.

Yes, 4-0 in the PL Cup Trophy Final

And we won the PL2 play off final 3-1 vs Sunderland

A lot of the U21 side are playing regularly at this level this season and we'll see how they develop, last seasons team were outstanding and you can't compare these boys. Fulham had a good side last season but the game they won at the end of last season was against a weakened Spurs side.

Watched U18s beat Reading 1-0, Reading were a nasty niggling team, it's rare that you see a team like that at this level, often see players who are over aggressive or lacking self discipline but this looked like a tactic. U21s continue to struggle losing 0-3 to Leeds.

I didn't know about this game, there was nothing on o.s. or on flashscore.
The O.S. and SpursPlay are both woeful.
I bought SpursPlay to watch these sorts of games, but they don't have live coverage, no information, just rubbish.
Twitter and Instagram and Fotmob are better sources for coverage of these games.
Frustrating because the cameras were there and I have watched the highlights on SpursPlay this morning, so they could have streamed it live. If some spotty teenager can livestream themselves from their front room, it is not beyond Spurs.
