except that he isnt really good coming back deep and collecting the ball facing our goal. bissouma is much better at that.I really think Bergy could excel in such a role providing the quality is next to him..:

If he's starting as part of a pair in a 4-2-3-1, and his partner is more 'defensively minded' then I think he could really excel over the next two years. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea, but if you had a destroyer like Palinha next to him, I think it could be a fine thing...in fairness, Palinha might not be Pirlo, but his possession and short-pass completion stats re very strong indeed.except that he isnt really good coming back deep and collecting the ball facing our goal. bissouma is much better at that.

i want us to get another goalscoring AM like maddison but younger.
No that's on thfc books. Yes if levy leveraged his equity to reinvest into the club, to win things, and increase its equity further.Like borrowing a £billion to invest into a new stadium?

I don't think El Khannouss will be as good as Maddisson. McAtee is a bit too young. Charles the Kettle is 24 and we've not gone wrong with Belgians! We were linked with El Khannouss yesterday, and McAtee the day before, who both fit that bill
Issue with him is the defensive side of his game is still very much a work in progressI really think Bergy could excel in such a role providing the quality is next to him..:
Never heard of this El Khannouss guy, played a few games for Leicester as well but didn’t notice him at all.
On the other hand reports are RB Leipzig want him to replace Simmons, which isn’t a bad measure of a player.
I rate this guy and have mentioned him a few seasons ago. He was magic for Brugge and then AC Milan snapped him up. Since moved to Atalanta. Isn’t he more a wide player? Defo has the tools to play central.i want us to get another goalscoring AM like maddison but younger.
like this guy, taller version
And Palace want him to replace Eze, which again is a positive signNever heard of this El Khannouss guy, played a few games for Leicester as well but didn’t notice him at all.

He’s an 8 for me. I don’t see that changing. Wants to cover a lot of grass and adds a bit of impetus in transition.Issue with him is the defensive side of his game is still very much a work in progress
Yeah I agreeHe’s an 8 for me. I don’t see that changing. Wants to cover a lot of grass and adds a bit of impetus in transition.
We have no appetite for risk. There is no dare here, just safe.the rules of finance includes taking and managing risks for optimum return - optimum depends on risk appetite
Bergvall is good and has shown good qualities but he's not the answer for all questions particularly deep lying ones. He's quite guilty of losing ball in those positions, something he will learn from hopefully but he's not the finished article.I really think Bergy could excel in such a role providing the quality is next to him..:
I see him as more of a number 8 type.A deep sitting playmaker. Someone who receives the ball from the CBs and transitions it quickly and very well. Probably more Bergvall out of all our CMs
Arent they the same things? The second half of the double pivot, who plays next to the DM, at the base of the CM triangle but with more licence to get forward. Bergvall, Sarr etc.I see him as more of a number 8 type.
