Transfer thread

I'm assuming you have listed this season's A-list? It's a good reference point. I was mapping everyone that fell into that bucket for next season. Looks like we got some work to do to both create space and accommodate existing players. The killer for me is not being able to register U21's that haven't been registered with Spurs for 2 years. Gray and Bergval have been taking 2 slots. Now we have guys like Vuskovic in the same boat. Yang as well. Not looking good for Keeley as well.
No, I think what he means is that this is our A-list going into next season (which is why Tel is included), and that we should start making a definitive A-list for next season from here.

A-list: Venom, Kinsky; Porro, Udogie, Romero, VDV, Dragusin, Danso; Bentancur, Bissouma, Gray, Sarr, Bergvall, Kulu; Son, Richi, Tel

Away from the emotions (difficult I know), I still cannot see both Bissouma and Bentancur staying. We have been crying out for a strong DM, and depending on how long Deki is out, and how much we rate Madders, we could do with another creative AM as well. Bergvall, Gray, and Sarr for me are the only certainties in midfield going forward. Another goalscorer would be required as well. So let's say that from the above A-list of 17, three will leave (Bissouma, Richarlison, perhaps Bentancur/Dragusin), and we could add a DM, an AM, and a goalscoring CF like Delap. I think that's the minimum we need to have a chance of surviving the first phase of the Champions League.

If transfer discussions are going on without him I’d take that as a sign he’s on his way out. Unless there’s a change of plan after Wednesday.

That did occur to me, but it's not as if Ange has had any free cycles recently to be involved in meetings.

I could interpret those comments in many ways.

Liverpool are making their team even stronger already, they are going to be even more of s force next season.

Re the midfield Bissouma/Bentancur. Next season is AFCON. So that might be taken into consideration do you want Bissouma and Sarr both in the squad if they are disappearing at the same time. I think it’s over the busy Christmas period as well.

Would love Delap, wanted Cirkin to come back but that is unlikely now Sunderland are up.

I would go to Palace for their manager and Guhei, Wharton and Eze, think that's a lot of money. But what we get for Romero basically pays for Guhei. Would try and move on Bissouma as his form is erratic. If we do get Cardoso then I would sell Bentacur as well.

Think it's doable, with our Italian director of football I hope a few good more signings that we don't know about.

Have been impressed with Danso, a sensible signing a few more of those and a change in manager we will be alright.

Transfers out might be just as important so I hope we get rid of Richi and Son, neither are up to it and getting any money and wages off the books will be good.

The 4 I was keen on (from and attacking perspective) are Bowen, Mbuemo, Delap, and Cunha.

Seems like Utd are in for Cunha and Mbuemo even though they can’t even pay the dinner lady. Yet we’ve secured CL football and nothing mentioned. Can only hope there is some work being done privately/in the background.

I reckon it will be about £20m less than budgeted due to the fact we wouldn’t have budgeted for the Europa run that deep. Probably last 16 at most.

Just looking at the supposed wages probably going out the door.
Werner £165k
Davies £80k
Forster £75k
Regulion £53k
£373k
Just looking at those on loan
Hojbjerg £100k & Solomon £60k should both be moved on fine.
Gil at £40k might depend if he is injured or not. Not sure what Veliz at £25k situation is.

So should have at least £300k a week cleared. Plus you’d expect there to be some space to increase it organically due to increased commercial revenues etc..

The top 3 have already been replaced by Tel, Danso and Kinsky, on probably similar combined wages.
