He looked really good pre-injury. Realistically he's better off staying there for another year or 2 to get some more experience, think they paid a decent wedge for him as well.

I guess it depends whether we spent ahead of getting the revenues. That money might be gone and we might end up budgeting for 40-45 games after a 16th place finish. The one thing we can be confident on is that our club won't take unnecessary risks financially. Nor should they.

If we don't win the EL, then it might help us to make some courageous decisions on the squad in a mini-rebuild. I think it was #Raziel that come to about £130m of player sales a couple of days back. If we double down on the core 17 or 18 there is plenty of scope for improvement with a couple of key additions.

My statement was that the money from the cup runs this season would likely make up for the reduced PL prize money this season.

Danso goes to first choice with Vuskovic as back up.

There has been talk of Davies getting another year, so he would be VDV's back up. He would be the one I look to move out and bring in someone else though, or even to compete with Davies

Still not convinced, but 5 CBs of vdv, danso, dragusin, Vuskovic and Davies/another isn't bad.

In a more conventional defence he'll probably look better. He was getting great reviews before he came.
Phillips hasn't been mentioned. Stoke fans are raving about him.

Yeah, I would like to see him in a less ange defence.

I think Phillips needs another loan, a lower PL team would be amazing if we could. Davies 1 more year, Phillips another loan and then replaced Davies. That's how it's looking to me anyway.
