Grealish would not be an upgrade in any sense.

5 years too late, least kind of player we need IMO. I get the need for established players, but players that have had their fill elsewhere and come here with no hunger. Not for me

Yeah Bergvall and Bentancur looked fine under Ange, but of course because Bissouma (who wasn't pulling up any trees pre Ange either) was inconsistent it must be because of our useless ex manager. Just so happens to be the one that Frank seems happy to let go too, but yes all the poor performances and the stupid things he has done is on 'Ange ball' and couldn't possibly be because he is not all that.

So that's Son who was only poor because of Ange, Bissouma too - anymore for anymore? We don't need any signings for next season, with all these amazing players we have who were only being held back by Ange we are going to win the league next season ....

I don't actually think Bentancur was great under Ange either, not in the league anyway. Biss was good in Ange's first season compared to Conte:s last but in the second season he definitely struggled. But then so did most of our midfield in the PL. And that I'm afraid was down to tactics especially when the first choice defence was not playing. I don't think that is bricking on Ange to say that- we know he didn't really focus on tactics in the league hence the final position.

But the game where Biss stood out for me was the Liverpool first game of the LC. He was commanding as a number 6. I would love for him to get a chance to show he can be that player he was at the start of Ange's first season. The player along with Madders was most responsible for that great start.

Even with MGW we would need Maddison to stay
If Richi went, we would have to buy a backup CF
Son is the only one that we probably have enough cover for in position.

Tel and Johnson could cover as well as Son.

That’s true but surely West Ham would be a suitable destination since they are flush with money lol

Maddison is the type of player that might just get us the win in the games where the opposition is low blocking
