Transfer thread

Maybe Pep will adjust. The very best football and results he ever had was with one of the most if not the most direct dribbler the game has ever seen in Messi. Maybe now he's trying to return somewhat to that kind of system and instincts with his side. Even his Emirates Marketing Project treble side had Mahrez another very direct dribbler in it.

Mahrez is who they have been missing

Both players have apparently got massive ego’s. Oshimen cannot even get a move to a top club in Europe even though he has the reputation of being one of the most deadly forwards in world football and Hernandez was overhyped but never got the big move top players eventually get.
Hernandez is top 3 players at AC Milan imo. You want him to go to Real Madrid and then you want him? How would we get him then? Same for Osimhen.

Hmmm, the data suggests he’s more defence-first CB. Not to suggest he wouldn’t be a good fit, but possibly needs to be complemented by a ball-playing CB?
Honestly a defence first CB sounds like a dream at the moment hahaha

Joking aside, a defender in that style would be a welcome addition to help mix up tactics etc.

I think we need to wait on such analysis. Firstly we need to know who the next coach actually is and then see what their needs are. There might not be such the need for a press resistant ball playing CB in a slightly more conservative system.
