Seemingly trying to move quickly this window. Johnson, some loan deals presumably we think Solomon will be more likely to move permanently with this loan. Hopefully some movement on incoming players too.
They will try & do things quickly so they can say it was DL fault for all those slow drawn out transfers & we are different.Seemingly trying to move quickly this window. And if it is that black and white where they can get transfers done quickly. Then surely it does highlight a deficiency in Levy’s tenure? They will try & do things quickly so they can say it was DL fault for all those slow drawn out transfers & we are different.
Sure that's one way of looking at it. I guess the argument is every transfer is different I guess we will find out soon enough. I am more interested in the quality of the players we are buying. It will be interesting to see how much we actually spendAnd if it is that black and white where they can get transfers done quickly. Then surely it does highlight a deficiency in Levy’s tenure?
Who were the owners during that time and could have stepped in if not happy with it?And if it is that black and white where they can get transfers done quickly. Then surely it does highlight a deficiency in Levy’s tenure?
How about what would be better for the squad after this month's and summer's transfer windows?
I think it is pretty clear that Levy had full control of the club during his tenure here. I suspect he demanded that as part of his chairman role (which is a natural thing for him to do).Who were the owners during that time and could have stepped in if not happy with it?
That would be some gaslighting by "the Lewis family"
Not really. It seems that levy was quite autonomous and delivered with the budget constraints of a stadium build. Perhaps the owners have stepped in wanting a cake of direction in the market. Not really gas lighting but perhaps the objectives have changed with the hired personnel. It happens.Who were the owners during that time and could have stepped in if not happy with it?

If they were that unhappy with the direction of the club they would have stepped in or pumped more money into the club. Not really. Not easy to just pump money into a club as an owner anymore. City were last gravy train club in England. Saudi ownership of Saudi Sportswashing Machine hasn't had the same propellant because they've had to put the money in gradually and organically. If they were that unhappy with the direction of the club they would have stepped in or pumped more money into the club.
Who said anything about being unhappy? Maybe levy’s skill set was perfect for what was required then with budgets etc and think someone else would be better suited working with a new set of parameters? If they were that unhappy with the direction of the club they would have stepped in or pumped more money into the club.
The Lewis family are the billionaires, not levy
Sure but perhaps the MO has changed which can be more successful in hiring a CEO with a different skill set.100% the owners are the same and they control and controlled the budget then, Levy was not acting like a lone wolf as some allude to. I think the difference will be like you have alluded to, personnel changes which might see us as more dynamic in the market, time will tell, I like the moves to shift quick, lets see how that translates to incoming. You get rid of BJ you need to bring in something fairly quickly now IMO

Or…there’s a chain/a loop…Palace sell someone to City and City sell us Savinho.
There has to be some reason behind it, been done for week, Chris Armstrong alluded to it, he wasn't wrong. Has to be someone coming in somewhere
I think just waiting for Semenyo to City being finalised.Wouldn’t have released Johnson without having a new player signed. Something slightly off now
