West Ham will allow Declan Rice to leave this summer if they receive an offer worth £120m from a Champions League club.

West Ham would also accept £100m plus a player for the midfielder, with the Hammers already receiving enquiries about him.

His most likely destination at the moment is Arsenal while Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have also shown an interest in the England international
 
£120m seems a lot but he seems pretty happy (or he has so far... wonder if that changes in the summer...) at staying and running down his contract until he got a move. Think his contract has 1 year left with West Ham having the +1 option, so next summer he's going to cost maybe... £60-75m? and will still only be 26. Not sure West Ham will take a bath on him leaving on a free.

If only we could be in the conversation for him eh.

Can’t see him leaving for that fee though
 
I thought he wanted out last year but was convinced to wait 1 more year, knowing they would let him go this summer. Its a strange one because everyone has always assumed he wanted to end up at Chelsea but they have bought about 10 CMs in since he was first linked there and will probably only be looking for a striker this year*

*Unless they have a sale and shift a load of midfielders

Depends how much influence Pleat has on Levy. Pleat was asked last summer what he'd do with Conte's £150m war chest, and he said - "spend it all on Rice".

Sensibly though CM is the position we are already strongest in.

Rice is the best central midfield player in the league IMO. Worth at least £100m. I suspect Emirates Marketing Project will swap a heap of cash and Kalvin Phillips for him.

For a midfielder to be worth at least 100m he'd need to be a lot more like KDB and Odegaard creating and scoring goals than a Rice.

That would make him the most expensive midfielder in the league bar one player
That’s a pretty decent standard
