I wouldn't mind that, but he's not been on the bench since whatever muscle thing it is he picked up, so I doubt he'd be rushed straight back in (considering the value Poch places on fitness too).
 
I think we will need pace going forward to exploit Chelski's slow CB centre. With Lennon not around i'm wondering if Townsend might be neccesary:-k

I'd like to think you were right, but the fact is we see refs getting mugged off by the top performers every week. In a game that has become so much one of small margins, conning the ref is now seen as one of the most important weapons in the аrsеnal (pun very much intended).

Exactly the same team which I would pick. Only question for me is whether to go for Rose or Davies at LB. I guess Davies extra defensive ability probably swings it in his favour

Still can't forget the ref giving them a pen after hasselbaink tripped over his own foot and the ref thinking it was king. My blood boils when we play them
 
Fazio has to get at Costa. The guy is a loose end. They have history and he could lose it easily. Someone needs to keep Cesc in their pocket. Hazard needs 2 men on him. Need to get pace and trickery to go at Terry. And the keeper is a beast, need to finish well.

This - unfortunately. Not so long ago a retired PL ref owned up to being more scared of giving a decision against SAF than your average run of the mill PL side. Mourinho has taken over that mantle.

Agree. Wind him up with sneaky stuff till he snaps.
 
I won't complain regardless of line-up and system chosen by Poch, particularly given the circumstances for this game.

Wouldn't mind us going a bit cynical though. Rotate in some hard working players when Chelsea might not rotate much at all. Sit back, play it patient, don't give them the chance to attack on the break. Tight in the centre, hard working down the flanks. Accept 0-0 after 65 and then decide if we should go for it or not if we get there. A draw is fine for us, I think Mourinho will lose his patience before us.
 
Play it cagey to start , bring on pace later to make our extra fitness count. Need to flood the midfield for this one.
