Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal OMT

I wouldn't say we're clear favourites, they've only picked up 5 or 6 points less than us at home this season and they don't concede much at home either. Would be surprised if either team won by more than a goal.

Away wins at Arsenal are as rare as hens' teeth for Spurs, as well. We've averaged a win at their place about once every five years post-war, athough over the last 40 years, the rate has only been about half that. We've never won there by more than 3 goals (history records four 3-0 wins, in 1912, 1916, 1941 and 1954) and we've never scored more than 4. We've managed that feat four times but, apart from a 4-2 win in 1926, all those games ended 4-4 (1958, 1963 and 2008.) Tomorrow will be the 58th anniversary of our 3-0 victory in 1954.

Think we will concede too much possession and get cut open too easily with the 442.

OTOH, I have seen us cut apart with a three-man Sandro-Parker CM too, so I think it's more about the wingers doing their covering and everyone pressing the living crap outta them. The 442 can be very defensively organized (see: Hodgson, Pardew's Saudi Sportswashing Machine at times this season) but everyone needs to do their job and give them NO time on the ball.

How long before it becomes impossible to access the site? Like it was for the City game. Hopefully the visiting guests have been stopped in their tracks this time out.

At least there's no Nasri today, they've been slowly losing the players that destroy us on a regular basis.

Starting Saha when a fitter and faster Defoe is available seems a strange choice, but I'm sure that the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game has tipped the balance in Saha's favour

Gutted for Defoe.

Like others I'm sad to see Lennon on the bench, but having Sandro, VDV, Lennon, Cudicini, Dawson, Rose and Defoe as subs is a fudging awsome sign of where we are as a team.
