Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal OMT

Ade and Saha are gonna have to drop deep at times, rafa isn't fit but I would have played him or Lennon, not sure about Nico's defensive play and never have been. Hope it is a master stroke by Harry.

I wouldn't say we're clear favourites, they've only picked up 5 or 6 points less than us at home this season and they don't concede much at home either. Would be surprised if either team won by more than a goal.

FFS does Redknapp not learn! Even he said it in his last interview when we played 4-4-2 against Chelsea and 4-4-2 against the scum last time. It DOESN'T FECKING WORK! This will be our own undoing if it does go wrong. At least with Krancjar he will make the team play narrower so we could effectively end up with 3 in the middle and Ade playing Inside right. But sticking to the old stupid dinosaur views of "you don't change a winning team" and others like " we're in England we play four, four farkin' two" is the reason why we're so far behind other countries footballing wise. I love Redknapp he is the best manager we've had in my lifetime; but I hope today he isn't guilty of not learning from his mistakes.

Don't agree with the line-up. I think we might get overrun in midfield playing 4-4-2. We are certainly outnumbered. One of the strikers will have to help out the midifield when we're not in possession at least.
I would have played 4-4-1-1 with Lennon and Rafa in for Niko and Saha. Very strong bench at least.

This lineup and the 4-4-2 is a good thing though is it not ? It means we have a clear excuse to blame harry for if we dont win.

i'm sure Harry would have too if they'd have been fully fit.

what if he starts them both, knowing that they're 80% fit or whatever, and one or have to come off in the first half? Harry would be vilified.

Sandro back on the bench too!

great subs
Cudicini, Dawson, Rose, Lennon, Sandro, van der Vaart, Defoe.

I don't get it. How can VDV start on the bench if he is not fit ? Either he start or don't play at all. He is not the sort of player who can impress coming on as a sub. Hope Redknapp knows what he is doing. Feel nervous already.

Because he's fit enough for 45 minutes but not for 90?
