Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal OMT

Don't agree with the line-up. I think we might get overrun in midfield playing 4-4-2. We are certainly outnumbered. One of the strikers will have to help out the midifield when we're not in possession at least.
I would have played 4-4-1-1 with Lennon and Rafa in for Niko and Saha. Very strong bench at least.

FFS does Redknapp not learn! Even he said it in his last interview when we played 4-4-2 against Chelsea and 4-4-2 against the scum last time. It DOESN'T FECKING WORK! This will be our own undoing if it does go wrong. At least with Krancjar he will make the team play narrower so we could effectively end up with 3 in the middle and Ade playing Inside right. But sticking to the old stupid dinosaur views of "you don't change a winning team" and others like " we're in England we play four, four farkin' two" is the reason why we're so far behind other countries footballing wise. I love Redknapp he is the best manager we've had in my lifetime; but I hope today he isn't guilty of not learning from his mistakes.

This lineup and the 4-4-2 is a good thing though is it not ? It means we have a clear excuse to blame harry for if we dont win.

whats with all you negative nancies?

Im' giddy as a school girl. We're really good. They're not very good. it's Simples.

7-0 Spurs.

devil's advocate...with two out and out strikers who work the channels well, will we not be more of a threat upfront whilst simultaneously force their wide men back more often. this seems quite a positive move. the one possible weakness from a defensive standpoint is Niko instead of Lennon but the former has more nuance about him and comes inside to link-up quite well with the forwards, with Azza to come on later and run at the tiring defence. Bale can hurt anyone so I really hope he is up for this from the start...

Arsene wenger just spotted laughing and joking...

Presenter: we wont be hearing from arsene because he has a throat infection.

:ross: yeah yeah...

You know, I'm actually surprising relaxed.

The last derby was ridiculous, I was almost hyperventilating with stress, but I'm pretty serene at the minute.

Might feel a bit different in about 15 minutes though!

COYS!

Many here are falling prey to the trap of modern football: 442/451/4312. The really important thing is how is Benny's hair?

I'm expecting Arsenal to have a lot of the possession and they will, at some point, score. I just hope that we have enough about us that we score more than they do. I have the belieft that we will win but really, who knows??

I always think the NLD is like a cup tie. Form goes out of the window, quite often because players get too up for it, if that's possible. It makes a change for us to be edging favourites, but all this talk on Sky about how Arsenal are finished, a poor side, we have got the upperhand etc is overdone.

i'd much rather approach this as tough game, which could go either way. I don't want it derailing our season if we get beat.

Great team selection.
Kranjcar will be dropping into the middle a lot and helping us keep possession.
Arsenal are playing without a real wide player on on their left hand side so I expect Walker will have a load of time and space to attack down that flank.
So we don't really need a winger on the right because Walker will ultimately be playing there.
