The Windows bar opposite used to be a place I used to take dates as an 'end to the evening' venue. Last time I went was a few years ago, saw some very attractive and well presented ladies there, they were on their own though? I hope some nice chaps ended up keeping them company for the evening...

Back when I used to smoke I'd stand out the front of the HiltonPark Lane when I was staying there and see Bentleys turn up with a very rich Russian in. Right behind would be a black Vito full of incredibly beautiful women.

On the whole they've always appeared to belong to the rich guys, they've never appeared to me to be working.

Nope just got some Hilton honours promotion through invite. Can recommend others etc. Essentially 50% at the restaurant, 50% at the bar etc, cheaper stay and massively reduced rates for the weekend etc.

Has anyone heard anything regarding how we are looking scheduling wise to definitely be in by next season? I know there was some roof based target next year but I wondered if there was any information floating about regarding the current levels of progress?

Those who have spoken to people on the site generally report that we're ahead of schedule. There's a lot of work going on inside that we won't see until it's done. The people working on the pitch area and the south stand (those that we see on camera) are only a small part of the total number of workers.

If the roof is to go up at the start of next year I think the south stand should be done before xmas so there's time to get the compression ring done and do all the necessary preparations on the ground that they are currently doing on the three other stands.
