Well Wanyama cost £12m and Sissoko £30m, so cost is not always an indication of quality.
Wanyama had a year left and Sissoko I think 3 years on his contract.
You'e eeffectively paying good out the contract.

That’s different to saying he doesn’t do his own posts though. Either way it’s an eye opener to me if that’s the case. What a time we live in where footballers have to check with club if it’s ok to post a pic, I almost feel sorry for them

I think that's very much been the case. Since Berahino torpedoed his whole career a few years back anyway. As an absolute minimum they'd be contractually obliged to have them vetted by the club, but I'd be pretty certain they are all from PR agencies. The players use WhatsApp for their personal comms apparently

They actually played him holding midfield quite a bit and did so against us
They played Fonte and Yoshida centre backs quite a bit with a midfield combo of Wanyama/scheindrlain or Toby in a two so we’re very solid defensively

The vast majority of players have their own social media managers. They run thing through them/have posts suggested by them. These folks often work with a player's rep/agent. If you're lucky, the club are seen as the clearing house for posts, but usually not.This goes in the entertainment field. I personally know of only one artist who directly posts to their own Instagram without going through anyone. Others pick what they want to go up and have their "team" do it...

Not exactly true, at least - I would add - "We have not looked anywhere near as solid with Toby, Dembele and Wanyama missing unfortunately..."
We do miss Toby, but had we our first choice midfield out I do wonder if his absence would be as notable.
