I'm hopefully we'll sign a young HG GK (Tickle, Trafford), a young HG LB (Cirkin, Mitchell) and a WF on loan (someone random from Paratici's black book).

I'd also like to see us do as much deck clearing as we can ahead of the summer - Gil, Solomon and Austin on permanents; plus some of Forster, Whiteman, Regulion and Werner gone early if we can.

I’d like us to sign a proper first choice keeper instead of a young back-up.

A loan wing forward would have to be somebody that could hit the ground running (not many of those out there)

Yes. I think he would be a brilliant loan signing. He will desperately want to prove Man Utd wrong so I think he’ll be hungry and focused. He is also a signing that could hit the ground running. Would start for us on the left and also cover the CF position. His £300k a week wages for half a season are entirely affordable for the club.

After JLingz, he's the worst Spice Boy in the game.

So let's get this right. Man U are in a worse state than us, and need a painful rebuild. And you want to take one of their biggest problems, both in attitude and expense, and pay all his wages? And at the same time, criticise the way the club is run!

I don't think we're getting a better keeper than Vicario for under £40m

I can't think of obvious names for a winger. We need Paratici to pull out another Kulu or Bentancur. Sane is all I can think of. Trincao from Sporting?

If you take Godfrey as an example, why would he agree to Spurs? He's just spent half a season getting splinters. What do Atalanta want? The comfort of him being on their bench, or a transfer fee. I doubt they want to loan fee when they're chasing the league title.

That's going to be the issue.
Trying to get anyone in, loan or buy, who will play a few games before probably going onto the bench.

Don't think he was presenting it as an insight into what will happen, but as an insight as to what the club are debating internally in the run up to the window.

Did we not dither over Calafiori last summer? Was he not scouted pre-Euros but we just, well, did 'us'? Anyway...I am not holding out any hope that we step onto the pitch against Newcash with any new players. I'd not be surprised if we don't do anything for a couple of weeks at least. It just doesn't feel great does it?

I dion't understand why we aren't banging Barcelona's desks to get either Chrisensen or Olmo on a short-term loan through the summer? It would allow Barca to register the other, allow the player not registered to pay regular high-profile football, get us immediate international class class quality in one of the areas we desperately need it, and does not destroy any long-term youth ascension plans. It seems like a no-brainer to me.

I have seen the first person saying we are trying to do this. But not someone I follow on x, so don't know how reliable.
