FTFYRamos is one of the greats, and a massive clam.

Apparently Pique has cheated on Shakira and the person he cheated on her with is Gavi’s mother.
This is what always tinkled me off about the moral high ground they and their fans seem to have taken over Madrid the last 20/30 years. Barca were always just as dodgy, but they revelled in painting Madrid as the devil (they are in some respects), which in turn made them the white nights and saviors of Spanish/European football!
I’m obviously one of the few that actually like Barca. Under Pep they were incredible and i watched all of their games in that period, i still watch as many as i can now and was a big fan when Ronaldo, Ronaldinho etc were there.

In a minority of course but I didn't find "tikka takka" that entertaining. Think I preferred the period under Rijkaard, they were a bit more swashbuckling and it wasn't death by a thousand passes every game.
Lewandowski is going there now for 50m EUR now,
I'm not usually a fan of tiki taka. Prefer contes style get the ball and attack. But barca were masters with xavi, iniesta and messi it was good to watch.
It was impressive, I don't disagree, just not exactly my cup of tea to watch every week.
The giant debt-zombie that is Barcelona lumbers onwards, mortgaging the future for the sake of the present, embarking on another summer of acquisitions of players it cannot truly afford, trying to survive long enough for the shape of the European game to perhaps change around it.
The sale of as much as 25 per cent of the club’s future television rights revenues for the next 20 years in return for up-front cash is connected to the arguments made in a courtroom in Luxembourg this week over the future of European football. The signing of Raphinha from Leeds United, the two-year extension to the contract of Ousmane Dembele, the potential deal to sign Robert Lewandowski – all part of a high-risk position that is based largely on a punt on long-term change in football.
It is a major gamble for Barcelona and, to an extent, its president Joan Laporta, although he will likely be long gone if it all fails. Can they win the legal battle of the European Super League (ESL) in time to save themselves?
Barcelona sold 10 per cent of 20 years of future Liga rights to the bank Sixth Street for €207.5 million. Under Spanish accountancy law Barcelona can book that as revenue and will likely do so in order to declare a small profit in October’s financial results. The tax authorities, however, will see it for what it is: more debt.
Another 15 per cent of Barcelona’s future rights revenue is also to be sold to generate a further €300 million. All requires the approval of Goldman Sachs, which is the club’s biggest institutional creditor. Lending for the rebuilding of Camp Nou and the debt refinancing last year puts the loans to the American investment bank alone at anywhere between €1.5 billion and €2 billion. For their part, Real Madrid have sold 30 per cent of 20 years of future stadium revenue to Sixth Street.
They have a fantastic academy, still producing the likes of gavi and pedri. Can also sign most out of contract players with their pull. They didn't need to buy big names. They might not win the league but they could still get into the cl. Sell off the high earners or let their contracts expire then in a couple of years be in good financial state.
Why laporta is doing this i have no idea.
for a club of that level winning the league is the bare minimum, not winning the CL is failure
