The Official Olympic Thread

Was sensational, best round I've seen all tournament.

So we have one event left to go for, women's modern pentathlon, where we have a girl placed in 3rd heading into the showjumping. Would be great if she got gold and we had a nice round 30
 
Like Lennox says, when they go back and look at the fight they will score Joshua higher, no worry for me. I think everyone seems to appeal when it goes to countback, got to chance your hand.

The judges this year have been incredibly dodgy, if the appeal produces a result for the italians, can we appeal the appeal?
 
Probably. They used to have the scores appear above the ring, visible to all, should never have taken that away, too many contentious decisions.
 
Serves them right for celebrating wildlylike dingdongs before the results were announced.

Probably only appealed to try and save their face after looking like complete tossers
