That's a possibility but when Jones plays central midfield he doesn't hold and goes box to box instead.

roys problem was he could see our 2 cm were fcked, so with one sub to use his hands were a bit tied.
He should off taken young and milner off (both dogsh1t) so rooney wellbeck carroll walcott were left as the att threat and a bit more flexible, rooney cld lend more of a hand in cm.

i wouldnt fill my squad with mugs like downing and henderson. Roys squad is crap so there is no choice left. Are there any more midfielders even in the squad?

Parker was bad at going forward,but as soon as he went off,England lost all it's aggression...The Italians are easily bypassing the midfield now
