The Official 2024/25 Premier League Thread

Pep has won 4 titles in a row, won multiple cups and even the treble. Of course the way he is going to be discussed is different to Ange. Pep has considerable credit in the bank. Ange has none (yet).
Ange has won titles outside Spurs.

My son told me that Smiffy thought the ref should take some action about Villa wasting time after 11 minutes last night, strange it didn't bother him at all last week.

Do you seriously think that the titles that Ange has won in little watched and unrated competitions is going give him the same leeway that Pep enjoys? Pep actually won these competitions in this actual league. Hell people weren't even giving Pep the benefit of the doubt during his first season at Emirates Marketing Project and that was after all that he had won with Barca and Bayern.

Brits don't give a fudge with what is happening outside of the PL.

Sky built this match up to be a possible classic....well so far its been classic cr@p

Arteta seems to have changed tactics to grinding out 1-0 wins this season, which they aren't good enough to do. They've gotten worse at everything. Don't know if he thinks they can do a City type run after Xmas.

No wins in 4
Surely they should be going for a manager who wins things now

They need to win something this year, even if it’s the league cup or FA cup. But at some point he’s got to win the league or the CL or they will replace him. I can’t see them sacking him this season unless they really fall off the pace and finish miles behind Liverpool and city.

Who would they replace him with
I can see them cutting back in the spending though
