Conceded the same number of goals as us, as mentioned previously our xG conceded is good but some want to make out as if we are one of the worst in the league at defending. The way we play we are always going to be open to some extent but it's really not that bad....

All I can think of is, as it was the subjective part of offside ie interfering, they gave the onfield ref the deciding look (ie multiple angles) and decision.
Luckily he backed his own original decision (which is rare once asked)
