He’s been mentioned as backup for VDV, and I like the look of him. However, according to this chart that popped up on my feed recently, they’re very different stylistically. That’s not necessarily a reason to avoid him (different options are good) but I found it interesting.Think we should definitely try for Branthwaite in the summer
I'd say that'd be more to do with the way Everton set up than his ability to cover for VDVHe’s been mentioned as backup for VDV, and I like the look of him. Yep and they're panicking nowCould t believe the team Pep started with.
A defensive Everton set up so he has playmakers like Nunez and Stones in midfield. Totally the wrong game to start those two.
No Bruyne or Silva and no Walker either , so very little creativity.
Pep has to meddle. Everton are decent , I think he's underestimated them.
BakaykoDoku is quite a player, beats his man/men time and again. Would've loved for us to have one of his ilk eventually.
Saw that, was impressive.Haaland just brushing off Braithwaite as if he was a little mosquito. The man's a machine.

A very good player but the English tax means unlikely. How much better will he be then Phillips or Dorrington anyway.Think we should definitely try for Branthwaite in the summer
And if/when Everton are relegated, he'll have to be sold and there'll be a strong market for him. Not saying we couldn't hoist a winning bid, but it'll get jacked up. Could only see him coming on for us as injury replacement, cup fill-in or to close shop when we have a lead.A very good player but the English tax means unlikely. 2 goals, 5 assists in 15 appearances. A goal involvement every other game, doesn't seem too bad..Is it? Every time I watch him he seems to get good crosses in, but I don't watch all of their games.
