The Official 2021/22 Premier League Thread

Wonder why Leeds didn't call it off. Clearly didn't have much of a team at their disposal. Thought Gelhardt, a 19 year old Leeds forward like a prospect. Good close control and strength for a teenager. Won Leeds their pen.

Dont think they had enough covid related absentees, normal injuries dont count.

Not surprising they tried given their poor form recently.

Given they’ve got seven positives, it seems a perfectly reasonable request. They’ve now had to travel together, share a changing room - likely to be even more positives soon.

The league’s integrity for this year is going to be smashed to smithereens if they continue down this path.

Oh my word. Wtf was that from the Saudi Sportswashing Machine defence?

That made the Leeds United defence look like vintage Italy

And that's 2-0.

I dont think these new owners will have enough money to save Saudi Sportswashing Machine this season. If Burnley can get their act together, it really should be (and currently deserves to be), Leeds, Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Norwich going down

How was that not a penalty for Saudi Sportswashing Machine? If it was at the other end, the ref would have blown before he hit the ground!! Unbelievable! What's the point of VAR when they don't even look at that? Shouldn't even need VAR.

Radio comms were saying it was because he was going away from goal so no pen, surely a foul in the box is a foul in the box
City would have had that given 100%

Who actually enjoys watching Citehs games? I don't unless they're up against a challenge. Most of their games are like training exercises, attack v defence and I find it really boring waiting for them to win 3 or 4 nil.

I generally can't stand watching Emirates Marketing Project, Liverpool and sometimes Chelski for the commentating alone, missing the game yesterday meant I was subjected to Sky commentary and it' worth the season ticket price alone just to miss those clams.
