We should have signed him before Stoke did

Didn't he say that he wouldn't go anywhere to be second choice?

I think he, like Stoke, expected Begovic to move on in the summer and that he would be first choice at Stoke this season.

If Gouffran wasn't there, Joe Hart would have undoubtedly at least attempted to save it.

What were you thoughts on Yanga-Mbiwa's tackle?

Spot on yellow.

From my view in the East Stand it looks pretty innocuous, would need to see it on TV.

Edit: That is about Yanga-M'Biwa on Nasri.

I haven't had access to a TV for most of this afternoon, gutted I missed this goalfest. I saw Shawcross' rugby tackle in the 15 minute then had to go out.

to think, he didn't even play against us and they scored 5.

Let's be honest. That game was as much about us as it was them being good. We were simply dreadful. To be honest we haven't quite shaken that type of performance our of our system. Look at the first half yesterday. A better team scores at least a couple, as Liverpool did. Then you chase the game, get a man sent off and look quite dreadful.

They have some very dangerous players and are playing with a fluency we are way off. But I still reckon we could go to Anfield and boss them.

Was cynical and hard, nowhere near the ball, but not the kind of tackle that often leads to a long term injury imo.

Think we can get Liverpool and Man U next season with a proper manager in and the new players better adapted. This season I think they look too good.
