Love it.

Didnt like the Arsenal,United or Everton results, but I wouldnt be seen doing that on the box!

If United win the League expect Mourinho to turn up at City in the summer.

Still say if wants to be classed as The Special One, come to a club like Spurs and win a title with us.

Nothing out-of-the-ordinary special about winning trophies with Chelsea and Real Madrid

Exactly this, not much of an achievement to win the title after spending ?ú1.7bn, its pathetic its taken them this long to only start challenging...

That's what he always done.
He's never managed a club that doesn't spend the most or second most in any league he's been in.
Why would he change now?

kneejerk alert: i so want the swansea gaffer to join us now!

There is a great deal to admire about Rodgers and Swansea thats for sure.

Its worth noting though that Rodgers joined the club some way down its road to this style of play - Martinez and Paulo-Sousa put a lot into developing these players and style of play.

That said Rodgers has certainly taken it up a notch, with a sexy style of play, resolute defence, meticulous preparation and focus on work ethic as well as technical ability.

They are a top striker away from a a EUROPA challenge IMHO, some achievement considering its Swansea we are talking about

Why would he need to? Domestically, his teams may not have been the smallest but his continental achievements with Porto and Inter were exceptional. And he currently looks like he's about to slay the Barcelona behemoth in la liga.

I'd love him to come and manage us but any criticism directed towards him regarding the teams he has managed can justifiably be swatted away with details of his continental record with Porto and Inter, the records he broke at Chelsea and the records he looks on track to break in Spain.

i certainly wouldn't be upset at getting Rodgers in - would be a bit of a risk though. but i would like to see us break the trend of not giving younger British managers a chance at the top.

i think that there are lot of managers out there that can cut it at the top level but never get the chance because no one wants to take a risk on a manager who hasn't 'been there and done it' before and i think there is a lot of nonsense spouted when people come up with reasons as to why you need a 'big name manager'

Why would he come here and not to be able to buy the players he wants because of our wage cap?
He has never had the the restrictions he would have here at Real, Chelsea or Inter.

That defeat could work in our favour. Next League game for City is Chelsea at home. Should come out fired up and they should be fresher having had no League at the weekend.
Big chance for us to go back 7 pts clear with 9 to go before that massive game at the Bridge

Think City will turn them over comfortably. Chelsea still aren't playing well and City haven't dropped any points at home all season. They will drop points at home to United and that's it.

Pretty good game norwich wigan - I do enjoy watching wigan. They are a bit brick but not because of Martinez but because they lack such quality. They do play some good football.

Wigan are a bit of a brick club but it's nice to have them as it's easy for me to get to and has the atmosphere of a really good home game as their fans are either abscent or just dreadful. Last time there was like 16 thousand there and about 6 thousand yids I think, mental.
