Not allowed to play without your boot on?

Is that a recent rule? Sure Gazza twice without a boot on, Oxford,Portsmouth??

Well, to start with, Bilbao wanted it more than United. Some united players didnt want to play that game.

But Bilbao were fantastic, they are the closest thing to Barca in terms of passing/control.

All of their players is worth a look at.

Some united players are far below the United level of recent years: evra, rafael, chicharito. Im not a big fan of Chicharito, he often comes up with a goal but i wouldnt want us to sign him.

Phil Jones doesnt look as fit as earlier this season and rooney had a poor game but still managed two goals, i dont know how.

He scored 2 at the weekend against us but Young's rating tonight should be 0. He was poor.

Oh and this would happen more often to United if premierleague teams stopped fearing them so much, and thinking they had lost the game before it starts. Teams in this country show them too much respect.

And it all makes last Sunday even more annoying. Fergie must wish United could play us every week!

2nd goal was 14 passes leading up to the goal! And it wasn't offside.

Come on, I didn't see it more than 4-5 times in replay but it looked pretty blatant didn't it? A very good goal indeed despite the offside, but to say it wasn't seems strange to me.
Good game by Bilbao, Muniain gave me a hard on and Llorente looked very decent.

I'm a big fan of Hernandez. It's their midfield that's the problem. Anderson, Carrick, an ageing Paul Scholes, not much creativity to speak of.

I thought the whole body had to be offside? Didn't look like his whole body to me. The problem is people think a player is offside just because his arm or his ear is offside.

I wasn't aware of that, if you have any information about those rules please forward (not being a dingdong). In any case, almost all of his body is in an offside position, at least half of his body and his right leg is way offside, to me it is an offside, but then again I love being against the rules :p

It's a shame Levy will be scared of hiring a man like this after Ramos experiment went so wrong.

It's not the whole body, just any part of the body that can legally score a goal. So yes an arm shouldn't be offside, but technically an ear can be (ridiculous if so mind)

It is infuriating how we invariably seem to make ManU look good be it throwing away 2 / 3 goal leads or just making elementary errors to hand them the game ](*,)

Wish that our players could play with the confidence that Bilbao exuded tonight, as we saw on Sunday how ordinary this ManU side is but just couldn't flipping well put them to the sword yet again. Perhaps if we could manage to sign a couple of these Bilbao players who have the experience of outplaying and beating ManU on their own turf that they could instil that belief into the rest of our team.
