Arsenal have agreed the biggest kit deal in English football with sports giants Puma.

They have struck an agreement worth in excess of £30m-a-year which could see the five year contract worth £170m in total.

The deal worth more than Liverpool’s new £25m-a-year contract with Warrior and brings to an end Arsenal’s 20-year tie-up with Nike.

Getting paid by the square inch for Wenger's coat?

Well we won the London mini-league last season so hopefully Le ARSEnal will suffer the same fate this season [-o<

OptaJoe | Facebook: 19 - Arsenal picked up 19 points from their London derbies this season; more than any other side. Capital.

That's fudging terrifying if true. I hope someone got their figures wrong. Arsenal usually have brick commercial deals, I'm surprised they were able to negotiate that without even being confirmed 3rd or 4th.

Isn't that because many of their deals dated back 7 or 8 years when they signed up long-term contracts with Nike and Emirates to get cash in the door for the stadium. Now those deals are expiring so the new ones will obviously much more competitive. Their sponsorship deal with Emirates has also gone from £7m to £30m p/a although it was confirmed that part of the new deal is dependent on them securing CL each year.

3 women in Ohio held captive for 10 years have been interviewed live on CNN news. All had the same question Have Arsenal won anything yet?

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wheelchair will have a minor operation on his ankle at the end of the season, manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

The 21-year-old, who missed all of last season through injury, was sidelined for several weeks after Arsenal's defeat to Tottenham in March, and has been on the bench for the Gunners' last three league games.

More surgery for Wheelchair. At this rate he's going to set some kind of record. Though this one is just to remove pins put in place previously.

He removed his twitter when rumors were gathering pace during his season long injury for ankle ouch. Unfortunately he's back on the teletext.

Surely none of the above as that would be slanderous

Yep. There were some awful and clearly untrue rumours that when Woodgate got transferred to Madrid he had a stupendous coke habit. They apparently had to say he was injured in order to avoid any testing. Obviously the above is completely untrue and it would be awful if such any Arsenal player had such a fate - especially one with long term 'injuries' and a habit of being an obnoxious and abusive cnut.
