Extremely happy with the day. All the talk beforehand was that England had already won the game by winning the Ross and getting first use of the pitch.

If we can keep your score in the low 300's and get our innings started before lunch on day 2 it may still be in good nick for our batters. We could jag a 400+ innings and put the pressure on you guys in the second innings again.

Didn't he hit a very composed half century last game? Sure he didn't go on to make 3 figures, but neither has anyone except Bell so far.

Also, who's replacing him? Compton with Root dropping to 4? Move Bell up and put Morgan in at 5? I'll take KP ahead of those options.

I'm loath to fall on either side of who is winning until your lot have had a bat. Whilst i think we could have batted better, the first test was also a must not lose toss due to the nature of the pitch, turned out not to matter that much in the end.


Anderson night watchman was obviously a mistake though. Means one of the two out there are going to be left with nobody to bat with.
