I wouldn't have posted it and I have a sense of humour that gets me into some "tricky" situations.
I read it and knew right away who had posted it, it's in keeping with his normal tone. I get his sense of humour, but I'm very aware a lot of people won't.
There is a narrative that the rapes gangs have exactly the attitude that dfl presented, that "non western minorities" view western women in that way because of how they dress and their attitude to sex.
Muhammad Ali went on about it in the 70s.
Whether that was how he intended it only dfl will know, personally I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

It was a poor joke on my part. Dont actually think it. Just a poor joke.

Do recall the posters saying all brexit voters should be lined up and shot. I misjudged the tone of what is funny.

Anyway I would play Lankshear upfront next season. Sell Richie and give Veliz game time.
 
I don’t think it’s a topic worthy of joking. My sister was raped and whilst some people, if they knew the circumstances, might question that term, I saw the awful, awful bruises as well as the emotional after effects and trust me, it is not a subject for humour.
I appreciate @Danishfurniturelover didn’t literally MEAN what he said. And has apologised. I would just request a bit of forethought and caution
 
I have dark humour but even i thought “what the fudge” when i read that. Even with dark humour there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed.

Sorry to hear that. I sat in court and watched the rapist of someone close to me be found not guilty. Any man who thinks the subject is even close to funny is a complete and utter dingdonghead and should do more to educate themselves on the topic.

Romero and Lo Celso just spent a month or so in his company at Copa America, so he'll certainly know what Spurs can offer. Only 24 with good experience already. He'd walk into a starting role most games. Which would seriously plss off Richarlison. Not like that's a bad thing.
 
I'd like to see RIcharlison with a full pre season behind him, I don't think he's the long term solution but he's probably good enough for this season if he can get 15+ prem goals. We also need the midfield to chip in with Johnson, Madisson etc getting into double figures.

100k a week sallary, but young enough for us to be interested, if city would sell to us. They only paid 14m for him apparently.

If City will sell, if it's not Saudi, there are probably 6 clubs that could afford him, and a few of those would be "bigger" rivals to them right now than us.

City have always sold to EPL rivals - Cole Palmer most recently. They have an arrogance we stops them worrying about getting an occasional comeuppance.

We presumably have decent relations to them through Munn

Those sales are usually players on the slip (Palmer is an exception), it's usually the Zivchenko, Sterrling types.

I'd be surprised if they sold Alvarez to the Scum or Pool, everyone else, they might not give a brick ..
