Tanguy Ndombele

He's such a positive player with great ability to hold onto the ball. If we get this lad playing, we can seriously challenge for things. He's that bloody good and with GLC next to him, we'd be so good in the middle of the park.

The boy is so talented, it fudging hurts me when I see him lazing around the pitch and getting hooked. I really, really hope that Jose is committed to getting him playing and he's committed to pulling the finger out.

Dare I utter the cliche...he could be like a new signing for us...just as important as any of the others.

He did a lot better tonight, he will not be the only player who has come in from a different Lge and struggled in his first season. It always amazes me how some fans get on new players coming into our Lge and who do not make a immediate effect.

There are clearly issues with Ndombele that we haven't seen with others. However, despite being a fluff piece, I thought one of the most insightful parts of the documentary was the player liasion officer talking about the difficulties of settling into a new country and how talent is just one factor in how successful a player is. I'm 41 and I think the danger for me is that I forget how much older I am than them, how much more life experience I have by virtue of my age and I don't factor in what it was like to be in my early twenties. When I was 22-23 it'd have scared me brickless moving to another country especially where they don't speak the same language. Then you factor in the pressure these lads are under being in the job they're in. A lot of these lads are very young and have very little life experience and we sometimes don't cut them some slack for that. I know they're insanely well paid but they are only human.

I’m old too, but I always feel like footballers are older (and therefore smarter and more grounded) than me because I’m not a footballer yet, but it’s definitely going to happen. I’ve never considered myself a grown up, but professional footballers are.

I'm firmly in that boat and my son re-enforces my delusions because he always says I'm such a good footballer that I should become one when I decide what I want to do with my life.

I'm not really much good but when you're 8 and your dad is hockeying you in a backyard game because he can't take losing to anyone even in a kickabout, your dad probably looks like he's on the same level as Harry Kane.

Some fans fail to understand that the game here is totally different to the major Lges around Europe and that its not easy for some to come to a different country and settle quickly. I have been lucky enough to have lived in several different countrys and its not always easy to adjust, add on to that facing a much different pace of the game.

Bruno Fernandes says hi.

I do agree though.

He actually passes the ball FORWARD. Harry Winks take note, if you want to play alongside PEH this is what you need to bring.

Was going to post the same. His first instinct is forward. Refreshing. Still not sure how he gets in the team though if we play 3-4-3, but there will be enough games and variations in formations that he'll get enough game time this year

Him or Alli, which is why I can’t see it being our primary formation.
