Naughton played there for a bit against Liverpool I think, though he started on the right. It could mean AVB sees Verts as our starting CB and Bassong is way down the pecking order.

IIRC Allardyce and Keegan didn't use to use Enrique that much early on in his time at Saudi Sportswashing Machine. N'Zogbia was playing LB at the point Bassong took over. Bassong did move to CB before xmas that season though. It was only under Hughton that Enrique really emerged.
