Im still disappointed by this. more than one paper has us in for him although no quotes from anywhere. I have not seen him but he is definitely brick, I dont even need to see him. I bet there isnt even any good You Tube clips of him.. Now if thats right he has to be brick.
 
if Modric has joined the squad in the States then we are in for a serious moral backlash within the squad...

Yea ITK's seemed to have dried up now after promising huge things were going to happen a week or so ago. The papers only have talk of a Modric exit/strike/revolt/humbling and hugely embarrassing climb down that's resulted in him having to train with kids at Spurs Lodge while the professionals are in LA.

We certainly need 2 strikers before the season gets underway, so something must be bubbling away. I'd also imagine a class ball playing CM if Modric does go, I love Hudd but he'd be my rotation player for the No.1 in that position (currently Modric).

will NEVER happen, but makes sence since we have not signed striker yet..

it will freeze in hell first before Benzema wants to join us, and Madrid would be mad to sacrifice their number 1 striker
 
Can anyone really see Benzema agreeing to join us? Notwithstanding the fact that his own value must be close to Modric's, he's got to be aiming higher than this. Even if Real wanted him out, he could probably join a club like Bayern or Arsenal, ie one that guarantees regular CL football. Even PSG would seem a better option for him at the moment.

fudge me, if Levy pulls that off he'd be the best chairman in the history of anything, I think we should be giving them cash lol

No, they don't.

This is just the ramblings of someone who thinks he has a contact at Spurs, but in reality that "contact" is just winding this guy up. It makes him feel important though and some people need that, so leave him to it I say.
 
Now if we were linked to VDV before he joined would people not be saying the same thing about him? He could have quite easily have gone to another top top club but came to us.

I'm getting a terrible sense of deja vu about this transfer window after all that early hope. I get so annoyed buy our ability to get all our pieces in place for preseason just look how important it provided last season

The same Ryan Babel from Liverpool? Thought he was older than that. Always had something abouth im I liked, though not sure he was ever a popular option on here.
