Do we still own Bassong? Assuming so, can't see anyone after him. Shame, when he got a run of games he actually looked fairly composed.

I remember goal v pool on his debut, immense header.

COuld still have a future at WHL but would be down the pecking order. If we sold Gallas then he could be one of 5 along with Kab, Vert, Dawson and Caulker

More likely though is that he'll be sold or loaned out again

Internacional president Giovanni Luigi has revealed the club have received an enquiry over Oscar amid speculation linking him with Chelsea.

The Blues are thought to be edging Premier League rivals Tottenham in the race for the Brazil playmaker's signature, with his agent claiming earlier this week the European champions had tabled a 25million euros (£19.8million) bid for the 20-year-old.

However, Luigi has cooled such speculation.

The club president maintains they are yet to receive any concrete bids but has revealed an enquiry has been made over the availability of Oscar for 20million euros (£15.7million).

Luigi was unimpressed by the proposal, telling Radio Gaucha: "We received an email today, but it's a long way off being done.

"The proposal wasn't as good as expected. We think Oscar is worth more than 20million euros.

"It wasn't an offer; it was more like an enquiry. We are only saying that the numbers have to change."

Oscar, capped six times for his country, is regarded as one of the best young talents in Brazil and he has been named in their Olympics squad.

The playmaker has impressed since joining Internacional from Sao Paolo two years ago.

Wonder whether it'll be a takeover reign similar to City's or one similar to Blackburns. Hopefully the former as I've always been fond of forest, having been taken to see them play a fair amount as a kid.

It's similar to the latter in the sense that they have no idea about how to run a football club.

Watford’s new owners have identified Filippo Inzaghi as a potential signing. The 38 year old striker was released by Milan last month

Real Valladolid goalkeeper Jaime claims Tottenham are interested in signing him this summer but the club's sporting director says there have been no formal offers.

Jaime helped Valladolid to promotion to the Primera Liga last season via the Segunda Division play-offs.

The 31-year-old keeper has plenty of experience under his belt after beginning his professional career with Spanish club Valdepenas back in 1998.

The Spaniard claims Spurs and other clubs are chasing his signature and says he would be open to taking the next step in his career.

Interest

He told Sky Sports: "That is true. Spurs and other clubs are interested.

"The situation is in the hands of my agent and Valladolid. I am happy here but it is normal to desire to improve as a professional."

Jaime would provide competition for first-choice keeper Brad Friedel at White Hart Lane under new boss Andre Villas-Boas.

Reports suggest the Spaniard caught the eye of Spurs last season but the club's sporting director, Alberto Marcos, claims no concrete bids have been made.

He said: "We still do not have a formal proposition on the table."

Who: The Goat
When: 14th July
Where: SC

Just a little bit about AVB's first week.

AVB is not as arrogant as the media say - the players enjoyed training and AVB has 'good banter' and was joking around with the players and taking the tinkle. He doesn't have the same seige mentality he developed at Chelsea as it isn't needed and that ********* is really excited to work with him.

Bit of top up info from the usual source.
City accepted a lower than market price so we could pay his signing on fee in lieu of wages.
Still after signing a "world class " young striker.
Apparently between 4 to 6 in which includes those 3 already here, so up to 3 left to go. Don't think that number includes the Man U youngster. Modric defo going. Trying for Moutinhu and Leandro. Nothing earth shattering so just really adding a bit of credence to the rumours already going around.

Glenn Hoddle will be the next Forest manager in my opinion

They mentioned that on Talkbrick

Would be very interested to see Hoddle back in management, his school in Spain for rejected young footballers (or summin like that) seemed successful and perhaps he has built some good contacts. Always good to see someone like him back in footie (as a Spurs fan)

Fabio Borini: Scored 9 goals from 18 shots on target last term; 50% conversion.

Now I see why Liverpool bought him.
