i was actually partially agreeing. I dont think its calculated but its a trend....the mentality is definately strong in the players we bought. we bought winners

Moutinho or not, I'm happy and I think we're definitely going to be up there competing with the squad we've now got. Can't ask for more than that.

Agree African, we are seeing players brought in that seem to fit a team ethic rather than individual flair...but I don't necessarily mind it.

Serious relegation fears!

Happy with Verts, Dembele, Siggy and lloris, good window. Disappointed naturally with Moutinho and worried about the lack of Strikers, still January is just around the corner. \o/

The myth that Spurs won't pay over a certain amount........which people usually believe to be in the regionof £60-70K.

The point is that there is no set maximum salary at Spurs. There is just a maximum wage budget which can be divided as Levy / AVB choose.

You can't seriously think that sigurdsson has more ability than Modric, dempsey and Dembele have more ability than VDV?

Ask any football fan in the world who they would prefer to have in their team, what would their answer be?

All in all happy with Dembele, Dempsey and Lloris this week, though Moutinho would have been the icing on the cake. Squad wise I think we are better, but how will we cope without Modric, King and VDV? That's the question mark for me.

Hopefully this means AVB has the personel he wants for his system. COYS!
