Sorry am I missing something with this Dawson to United deal? Why the fudge would we let them have him? Would rather him rot in our reserves than help them out on loan for christ's sake.

Hamburger are quite broke aren't they? I would think it's a gesture on our behalf to allow him to join up with his wife in Germany and thanking him for a wonderful 2 years service, seeing as he clearly wanted to go.

If it's a gesture like icelander said thats fair enough but, to sell a player as good as VDV for 10m is not a good deal any way you look at it. Great player loved him and its sad to see him go. Klinsman status imo.
