Which player would you like to see take over from Luka Modric?

Just like Bale isn't a striker. Players, like potential employees have transferrable skills, and could fit a different role to that which they have performed in the past. If we wanted a striker purely for his aerial skills and hold up play then Fellaini would fit the bill perfectly. As it is, Fellaini is one of the best midfielders in the Premiership and thus unlikely to sign for us, he probably wouldn't even view us as any more than a sidestep move anyway.
 
There's no guarentee he'd have come anyway. Perhaps he wants to repay faith the Barcodes showed in him after his spell at wet spam. That was the time to go for Ba.

Agree on Hudd. Really not sure on Dawson. I'd be surprised in that we'd be leaving ourselves potentially short if we had injuries like last season but on other hand at present very little is clear about what AVB is planning for the remainder of this window.
 
With Modric likely to be off if Thudd is loaned out we could struggle. Sandro, Livermore, Parker and JJ doesn't fill me with confidence if I'm honest.
 
Well if the rags are right and we are about to let go of Jenas and Thudd and with Modrics departure also likely, we must have some serious dealings going on in terms of incoming central midfielders.

Right now we only have Parker, Sandro, Gylfi, VDV and Livermore.

I would say we should have at least 2 more in that area.
 
Thought AVB was learning from his mistakes? Not saying Thudd is as important to us as Lampard is for Chelsea but why allow the media to make comparisons by completely alienating one of your players??
