That's a shame. Was hoping to see him get more game time in the coming weeks. For example in this game.

Also gives us a bit of a problem. Only Porro and Spence as the fit full backs and limits our options in midfield.

No idea what sort of team we will put out tonight. Think there may be some usual starters rested in midfield, Tel and Odobert back starting.

Channelling the spirit of Atouba to steal a win and progress

Yeah, really impossible one to predict. Quite a few who probably could do with some rotation and several who could be starting.

No, just laughing at the fact that you’ll do literally anything to blame Ange, other than provide any evidence that he caused the injuries.

Ange's were all muscular injuries, which are avoidable. We'll need to see more data on Frank, but ones like Bissouma's (a bad tackle whilst on international duty) was clearly not related to poor conditioning.

Going to have to get creative with rotation for full back positions. I mentioned VDV as an option at LB, perhaps someone like Sarr with his energy will have to a job at RB at some point? Can't keep playing Porro....

Can we stick one of the kids in tonight?

Yeah, maybe.

Don't think VdV is a good option currently. We're short on CB options at the moment, VdV himself is one of those we should look to protect and playing full back would probably put even more strain on his hamstrings than playing CB.

Personally, id rather put more into this match than Chelsea at the weekend. Although id rather beat Chelsea i think following up the Europa League win with another trophy (no matter what it is) would show last season was not a fluke and would continue a winning mindset. In a 38 game season the Chelsea result doesnt matter much. We only have a shout at the FA and League cups this season.
