I get your sentiment but I have to disagree

We don't have poor players. We know how good they are we saw it last season. That's what most frustrating. We are getting what we deserve for playing like this and playing weakened sides

Depends on the clubs priorities - I don't know, I'm just being the devils advocate.
Obviously CL is not a priority - judging by our purchases this summer, we can't compete in Europe with Poch and the same investment we have seen, sadly!
 
now i've taken the tinkle out of leicester and west ham this season but neither have regressed as much as we have

Well I would say that spending £70 odd mill in the summer means awe aim to compete

Probelm is we simply haven't got anywhere near to our best.
