Serious relegation fears

I fully agree with Poch here. Pochettino, though, insists he won't be prioritising Spurs' title challenge over the Europa League.

I think that is management talk, it would be suicide to admit that one competition was taking presidence.

We all know that we will not be picking the same 11 in all of our remaining games. We have a really strong squad but we know that some of those players are second choice in a position. I think that we are going to need to use all of them in the run in, what will be interesting is how Poch does this.

Well, regardless of quotes that may be for Levy and media consumption, his selections to date undoubtedly tell us he has prioritised the PL thus far.

Maybe now that we are out of the FA Cup and into the last 16 of the Europa his priorities will change, so let's see how he rotates his squad from here on out. My money is on him continuing to start his strongest XI in the PL.

have said before for me the big killer was Easter. Sunderland away on the Saturday 0-0(the most boring Spurs game I have ever attended) then Norwich at home lost 0-1. What a sh#t Easter holiday break that was.
Actually, I remember leaving right on 90mins to beat the traffic and heard a cheer as we walked down Worester Ave. Thinking we had equalised I remember saying to Jane 'Even if we have, it's still no f#cking good' and throwing a mini-strop. Looking back now if we had got a draw that day that goal would have been enough for 3rd on GD

Yes I remember that Norwich game because I think it was the match that signalled that Ledley King was beginning to show that he could no longer play without training. Grant Holt ran him ragged that day and it really signalled the end for Ledley. That and losing made it a very painful day :(

Martial picked up a hamstring injury last night and it gets even better for Arsenal as Chamberlain is now ruled out for a few weeks with a knee injury.

hahahaha .. really? fudging brilliant! although that probably killed any chance they had of beating the Scum (our best hope is Van Hippo Head sets them up entirely for the draw and they somehow manage a 0-0)

I think the Swansea game is so important now: a home game just after a Thursday EL game has often caused us problems (both physically and mentally imo).

If we win, it will give us a MASSIVE boost that we can sustain our form going forward; it will also put a bit of extra fear into our rivals too

Big loss for United, but i still have a funny feeling Depay will step up vs the Gooners (who i feel will be a little roostery in their preparations given United's injuries and the previous game).

Would not surprise me to see LVG outwit Wenger in this and come away with a 2-1 win

We were down to 10 but they'd made it entirely clear that they had no attacking intent whatsoever.

We could have brought on a forward for the keeper and they still wouldn't have come at us.

Could not agree more, I was at that game and Villa were hanging on even against our 10 men. Shocking decision by " rent a quote" which cost us.

I think so too... Though he did admit before the game in Florence that we would be resting/rotating players for the cup games. Wouldn't expect him to have said the same for a league game.

In any given EL tie we can also potentially deal with a draw or a loss with a good result in the other game. Makes rotation for those games a little bit easier and more comfortable than league games.

Dortmund though... Difficult to see a lot of changes/rotation...

Chamberlain being injured is (unfortunately) a blessing for the gooners, because he is shaite, and whoever they play instead is better than him.

That is true, but then he is currently been deemed to be worthy of starts, so that in itself might say something...

Every game we can be up for it...we have the skill..all we need is the will.

If we could hit the top that would be extra confidence if we can ride the pressure..
Anyway...CoySpurs."............To do is to dare!

I'm not really worried we'll collapse Spurs style this season - the team is too confident and well drilled for that. That doesn't mean we'll avoid losing, but I feel good about the run in, in fact I look forward to it in a strangely sadistic way.

Whether we have what it takes to go all the way and win the title, I don't know, but we wont crumble and end up sixth. Not this time.

There. Ready jinxed. Blame me if we rooster up.

So..erm...if we don't win the title where do we think we will finish?
