If Veliz goes on loan, and Scarlett leaves (either on loan or as a sale), we can do the numbers up front. Lankshear might just stay and wait for his chance. Will have Solanke (possibly) and Richi in front of him, maybe also Son and Deki. But offers something different than all four of them.

It will be more beneficial him getting a full season in the Championship or whatever - he has had naff all experience of competitive football and that's what he needs at this stage....

If we are bringing in solanke loan out lankshear. Then next season we can see out of the 4 (or 5 if scarlett does well on a loan), who we want to keep and who to sell.
 
We have reached agreement with Liga Portugal 2 side CD Feirense for the transfer of Nile John.

A product of our Academy system, Nile joined us as a seven-year-old and progressed through the age groups to become a regular for our Under-21 side in recent seasons.

Part of our Premier League 2 title-winning squad last term, he made two senior competitive appearances for us, against Wolfsberger AC in the UEFA Europa League and Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League, both in 2021.

We thank Nile for his service to the Club and wish him all the best in the next stage of his career.

nice move - id take take Portugal over playing in our reserves. low attendances though in anything but the top 5-6 teams.

We're still 1 for EPL and 2 for EL overseas players over our limit, so we do have a bit of an issue getting rid of him, Lo Celso, Regulion and Solomon, esp if we want to bring anyone else in

If no one else is offering more, it might be worth taking a lower fee to get his wages off the books.
