TrophiesI think we just need to play him, probably at left back. What has Kyle Walker got that Sess doesn’t?

Quite an open assessment!
def think he needs to focus on LB position, he doesn’t have enough in his locker for winger, but at full back I think he’s got all you need.
I agree, and Walker has a combination of top speed, acceleration and strength that is rare to see. That makes him special. That has top speeds listed which is not particularly relevant. Speed of acceleration is a far more useful stat. Walker has insane acceleration so gets to his top speed very quickly, never seen anything like that from Sess. Maybe he has it but I've never seen it.
Just as an aside. There was a game, I think it was against Wigan. They had a really rapid left winger that was also rather strong. Can't remember his name at all.Walker has unbelievable recovery pace and has never in the years I've watched lost a foot race to anyone. Its the authority he does it with that makes the difference. The opponent quickly gives up.
Read my post again, no where did I say anything about top speed. Walker is fast because of his acceleration, top speed is irrelevant it's why you often see players who you wouldn't consider fast in those type of lists. You must have sore shoulders after moving the goalposts like that. Your post literally said that Sessegnon has never shown top speed.
But... you did. You said "Walker is...one of the fastest players in the PL. Sessengnon hasn't shown anything even close to that speed wise."no where did I say anything about top speed.
Again where did I say anything about a top speed? I said fastest, fast can relate to top speed achieved as the article talks about, it can also relate to acceleration. You assumed I was talking about top speed.But... you did. You said "Walker is...one of the fastest players in the PL. Sessengnon hasn't shown anything even close to that speed wise."
Are you trying to gaslight me?
Walker is an interesting comparison. As he wasn't so highly regarded when with us, and Sessengon's raw attributes are not that dissimilar. Arguably Sessegnon is more skilful, certainly if you judge them at a comparative age. I think Sessegnon just needs games and patience. As Walker did. I would play Sess at LB, and he would maraud forward. He loves 1-2s and I think that is the answer to unlocking his attacking potential. He needs to play off people and be able to sprint down the line. Unlike Walker, he is capable of cutting in and finishing from the edge of the box.
Walker is quick, very strong and actually quite decent defensively.
There had to be at least one injury...
