Would be odd if he stayed at Everton. Cheatski has a small squad so he'd have got games and, as you say, changng your mind DURING a medical is just bizarre.

If he goes back to Everton he also has to get in front of Gylfi now to get a game

Maybe we said we'll come in for him in January once he's recovered, he won't be fit until around then anyway so if he's happy to wait we can get him for a cheaper fee and he can likely get a bigger wage.
